Interfacing with Shipmodul NMEA/Bluetooth Multiplexor

I've had no issues in the past with bringing GPS or AIS data into previous versions of OpenCpn, via 0183 serial/USB interfaces. However, I have just installed the very nice Shipmodul Miniplex-2USB/BT NMEA/Seatalk/Bluetooth multiplexor and OpenCPN just doesn't want to hear about it. I can see the incoming NMEA data sentences in the debugger window, and all ports are properly configured for speed, etc., but OpenCPN won't display any AIS info. I tried it on a normal COM port and a virtual COM port via Bluetooth. I've tried playing around with filtering and adding NMEA sentences to the port settings in OpenCPN, but still nothing. Anyone have a Shipmodul Multiplexor configured with Open CPN 4.0? Or, any configuration suggestions that I've missed?
Thanks,
Jack

Jack,

can you post a screenshot of your settings and another one of the NMEA debug window? Several eyes are seeing more perhaps...

Re: Interfacing with Shipmodul NMEA/Bluetooth Multiplexor

Hi
I just installed the Miniplex USB. In the mpx config tool you have to set the speed to 38400 on the port where the ais is connected.

Any luck?
