INSTALL compiler error

I have been developing some code for openCPN for a while now.

I've got a nice install and build on my development PC.
Using Windows 7 and Visual C++ 2010 Express.

I have two other PC's that I can do a brute install with my development code, but I can't seem to get a clean install package from the build.

If I take the opencpn_3.3.721_setup.exe to another computer - it will install but not execute.

Some additional detail below when I issue a "rebuild" from the VS GUI on the INSTALL project, not to be too boring so this is the tail of the build:
13>
13>C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft.Cpp\v4.0\Microsoft.CppComm on.targets(113,5): error MSB3073: The command "setlocal
13>C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft.Cpp\v4.0\Microsoft.CppComm on.targets(113,5): error MSB3073: "C:\Program Files\CMake 2.8\bin\cmake.exe" -DBUILD_TYPE=Debug -P cmake_install.cmake
13>C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft.Cpp\v4.0\Microsoft.CppComm on.targets(113,5): error MSB3073: if %errorlevel% neq 0 goto :cmEnd
13>C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft.Cpp\v4.0\Microsoft.CppComm on.targets(113,5): error MSB3073: :cmEnd
13>C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft.Cpp\v4.0\Microsoft.CppComm on.targets(113,5): error MSB3073: endlocal & call :cmErrorLevel %errorlevel% & goto :cmDone
13>C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft.Cpp\v4.0\Microsoft.CppComm on.targets(113,5): error MSB3073: :cmErrorLevel
13>C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft.Cpp\v4.0\Microsoft.CppComm on.targets(113,5): error MSB3073: exit /b %1
13>C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft.Cpp\v4.0\Microsoft.CppComm on.targets(113,5): error MSB3073: :cmDone
13>C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft.Cpp\v4.0\Microsoft.CppComm on.targets(113,5): error MSB3073: if %errorlevel% neq 0 goto :VCEnd
13>C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft.Cpp\v4.0\Microsoft.CppComm on.targets(113,5): error MSB3073: :VCEnd" exited with code 1.

Re: INSTALL compiler error

Two things:
1) The setup package bundles release versions of WX DLLs - you have to do the release build of OpenCPN to make a usable package.
2) The install target is not the right one to do the package, the package target is used for that. By far the easiest way to produce a usable package is to open the VS command line shell (Programs -> VS -> Tools as far as I remember), cd into the build directory and do:
Code:
cmake --build . --target package --config release
