Importing waypoint data from Fugawi to OpenCPN

Has anyone had any luck importing waypoint, route and trail data from Fugawi or Lowrance (.wpt) files? We have a one-of-a-kind shipwreck database that must be maintained. We have the data in both the Fugawi "Backup" file AND the Lowrance .wpt and .usr files. Lowrance has donated many pieces of equipment over the years and all our boats carry their units. Can anyone help?

Lowrance .usr files are supported by GPSBabel so their conversion to GPX should be trivial.
