How to upgrade fra 4.0.0 to 4.2.0?

Hi,

I'm not that experienced with OpenCPN, so maybe my question is quite banal?

I have in a single season used version 4.0.0 and I just found out that there is a later version 4.2.0, but I can’t see anywhere how to upgrade OpenCPN to a later version?

If I simply just install ver 4.2.0, do I then lose all my settings and do I have to reinstall my cards?

Is there anyone who can help me with a solution?

You can install 4.2 in parallel - will be asked when installing - keeping the two versions side by side.

All your settings from 4.0 will be imported to 4.2

And if want to delete one of the installs later on, the other will stay.
