How to Install Mac Plugins - S63 ?

Can someone give us a brief description of how to install a mac plugin?

We upgraded to version 4.2.0 and removed 3.2.2l, rebooted.
Now when we move the download S63 to the Application File, we keep seeing a message looking for an old version of OpenCPN 3.1.??? and then a message, ...not found.

PS: Actually all it says is please install version 3.3... or later. It can't find Opencpn.

Also, mac does not search on the whole disk, it just searches certain user files it appears... I was looking for a friends navobj.xml files and we had difficulty finding them. Also I was looking for the program directory, and the plugins directory...

Now I think the Security setting has to be set to "No Constraints" until after the plugin is fully installed. Then it can be set back to the original setting.

Rick...
You download the installer package, open it (Depending on your security settings you may need to control-click the .pkg file and select Open from the menu, not just double-click it), follow the instructions, done.

Re: How to Install Mac Plugins - S63 ?

My friend reported this after he got back home.
" It was that I had not properly installed the new version of the basic program. That is why the pop up said to install Opencpn 3.3.1or higher. I cleared everything, loaded 4.2.0 again, and the S63 plugin loaded properly and as advertised. Now on to the o-charts permit."

Thanks Pavel,
