Your OpenCPN screenshot looks just like an old problem from an early beta long before release 3.0.2. That problem was language dependent, but it has been fixed since a long time ago. So we need to find out what is going on.
I can tell from your screenshot that you are using OpenCPN in English
, but please verify that that is correct. And tell me what your Windows system language is.
Also I would like to see your log file. This is a bit tricky for you, here are the steps to get it:
- In Windows, Click Start
> Control Panel
> Folder Options
- In the new Folder Options window that pops up go to the View
- Set Hidden Files and Folder
to Show Hidden Files, Folder and Drives
- Also un-check
the box called Hide extensions for known file types
- Now OK
the Folder Options window.
- Next, on your hard-disk, navigate to the folder c:\ProgramData\opencpn
In this file there will be a file called opencpn.log
- Now post this file to Temp Share just like the others.
