How to compile opencpn codes on Windows 7, not use Visual Studio 2010
Hello Team...
I want to read opencpn codes. At the first, I read the document: Compiling – Windows (Compiling - Windows | Official OpenCPN Homepage)
The officially supported Windows build platform for OpenCPN 2.6 beta and later is Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Express. It is still possible to perform the build with Visual Studio 2008, but if you want to create installation packages, expect versioning problems.
Before you begin, update your Windows. If still using XP, Service Pack 3 is needed.</SPAN>
As this documents ,we can compile the codes on the windows 7 by using cmake 2.8 and Visual Studio 2010. But the Visual Studio 2010 is the paid software. So we want to need some free and open source IDE to compile and debug this codes on window 7. Could you give us one help on the windows 7 platform ? I has tried the codeblocks with mingw, but the code blocks can’t compile the opencpn.
Thank you.
Br,
Bailizi
