Halo24 Radar > AIS?

Halo24 looks like a very nice radar which even wakes itself up when it is needed, saving power. While reading about VelocityTrack, I thought it could possibly apply to AIS screens:

So what you are suggesting is that we colour AIS targets the same way? But isn't the pointy bit of an AIS target and the predictor already telling you what you want to know but in a more precise manner?
