GPX Utility

OK, I obviously don't know what I'm doing.

Downloaded the navigational algorithms GPX utility, tried to run the chart work, coastal navigation, bearing section. I assumed the "B" and "L" were Lat and lon.
close but apparently not. put in bearing in degrees. Clicked the GPX button, then in OpenCPN clicked the GPX in button and it came up on the chart. Not in the right place but there. Deleted it as you would a route in route manager but it left the file number and bearing on the chart and I can't find a way to delete them.
So, is there some instructions I've not read for the GPX utility or can someone explain what I'm doing wrong. Thanks

Still scratching head,

GPX in-out buttons

How did you get the GPX buttons to appear in the program?
