Here is the start of a new Track/Route library for OCPN and GE.

Many interesting new Tracks.gpx and GE.kmz files have been added to the library.

You can import all the Tracks.gpx directly into OCPN using the Route Manager and if you
wish,also create Routes. You can of course alter the Track for your own future use.

Make sure you tick all relevant items of interest in the GE View/Layers panel
before running the GE.kmz files in order to view all photos and info.

I actually just did a conversion of pinniped's latest list into openCPN friendly gpx format, attached. I converted the "Type" field into the icon ("sym") and left the descriptions. I used the extended set of icons that you can download from the openCPN web page because I find them a lot easier to see. I tried to create a consistent mapping between type and icon, but there aren't necessarily matching icons so I did what I could. I also deleted a number of entries that were missing the lat/lon or were otherwise corrupt. I included the list of questionable hazards at the bottom of pinniped's web page as a safety measure. Enjoy.

Tried this link and I get a malware alert from AVG.???
