How do I get Opencpn to connect to my Garmin GPS 72H. The GPS connects to Garmin trip & waypoint manager on my laptop.
I am using the mini usb port to connect to my laptop.
Any help would be appreciated.

I think you are looking for the "Connections" dialog box. There should be a drop-down there for selecting your GPS.

You know it's working since it's there in the other software, so that's a headstart.
