from OCPN 4.4 on PC to OA on androïd terminal ?

Hello All,

Help ... I have a stupid idea ... But why not ...

I consider the following structure:
- A PC under W10,
- OCPN 4.4.0 on the PC,
- a terminal for Android (smartphone or tablet),
- OA 1.0.12 (OCPN for android) installed on the terminal.

To my disposition :
- On the PC, the wifi, the blutooth, a USB port,
- On the terminal: the wifi, the blutooth and the USB port,
- A USB cable to connect the PC to the Androïd terminal.

I do not want to use any other material. I do not want to use other software. Just the ones I listed above.

Who knows how to send all NMEA sentences, which are in the PC, through an output connection in OpenCPN, to the terminal using an input connection in OA?

Not stupid, I did it to send AIS and depth data to my tablet.

Both need to be on the same WIFI network.

Configure OpenCPN as in the picture.

Do the same on the tablet except you select input instead of output

VDR do not run on OA. But now, I can try OA as if VDR run on OA

Merci bien ... Effectivement, vu mon niveau d'Anglais, cela repose ma cervelle de jacter Français. Hum ... Jacter = Causer. Comment aurais tu dis toi, dans ton Québec ?

I need to check the quality of the explanations on this page, in relation to the bsb4 format, which OpenCPN can display.

The aim is to update the page and, possibly, to improve its content.

Do you have any recent informations? Would you confirm that you can always buy this type of charts?

I do not have any experience with BSBv4 charts. I am still working with old BSBv3 charts.

According to CHS, SHC - Cartes électroniques (français) or CHS - Digital Charts (English) those charts are always available.
