Feel Like Garmin's Cash Cow

I am sick of Garmin. Their website is difficult to navigate, and I feel like they are milking me for every last dime. They want me to spend another $30 on HomePort in order to view SD BlueChart on my PC. I already plan my cruises on Polar View. I just wanted to view my tracks on a chart. This spurred me to try OpenCPN because it would allow me to view gpx tracks on NOAA rasters. I like it much! Better than Navigator and Polar. Thanks guys.

Some practices at Garmin (as well as at many other manufacturers) do suck. Like what you said but also using their proprietary connectors so that we have to buy their proprietary cables ... I hate such practices.
