I am trying to download the latest 2.4 beta release, but it takes me to install something called "Drupal" is this right and what is it?

And BTW, no way to download, because this Drupal thing fails asking me to copy some php file from one place to another, which clearly I cannot do.

Drupal is a content management system used by many sophisticated websites.

Are you downloading it from this site, and have the right operating system selected? I just tried it for Ubuntu which is my OS, and had no problems.
