Default vectors overide raster?

Was able to access rasters from NOAA for US west coast. Added new batch of vectors to cover British Columbia. Now I can't access Pac west coast rasters...only vectors of Pac west coast.

Do I need to pull the US west coast vectors from the directory in order to access the rasters?

Thanks!

Re: Default vectors overide raster?

Down at the bottom of the screen do you see blue buttons? If so, click one and you will be back in raster land. Green is vector land.

Re: Default vectors overide raster?

Thanks Trans.

No buttons at bottom. Do have the long yellow bar with green text below indicating vector charts loaded.
Running 4.0 on a 13" Acer Windows 8. Mobile PC display. Landscape.
Display scaling issue perhaps? Display doesn't support any advanced settings.

Would a workaround involve making changes in the Directory each time I wanted to switch?

Thanks again for your assistance.

Re: Default vectors overide raster?

A long yellow bar suggests you have CM93 charts not the NOAA charts. If you click the yellow bar you should see the CM93 charts. You do not have to change the directories to switch back and forth between raster and vector. You only have to click the blue, green or yellow bars at the bottom just above the text line at the very bottom.

Your charts have to be in a directory (or subdirectory) listed in the Options->Charts->Chart Files. You can list all your chart directories there and they will all be found.

Do you have any directories showing in the Options->Charts->Chart Groups?
