Dashboard problems

Using Opencpn 2.5 or the new beta on an XP netbook with a BU-353S4 USB GPS. When I set a route there is a small Leg/Route window that shows lots of good info but its too small to see from my cockpit. So I set the Dashboard up with large fonts but all it will show is COG & SOG, it won't display VMG or STW. Any fix? Or is there any way to make the display of the Leg/Route window bigger? All the info shows in the Leg/Route window so Opencpn must be receiving it.

...well, there is one way I've found...using a java app called "MobileWitch" via bluetooth to a cellphone.It's A bit of fiddling to get the bluetooth happening reliably ... but it's a great way to make an old cellphone useful...

That looks cool but my cell is real old. Just can't figure out why the Leg/Route can display VMG and STW but the Dashboard refuses. Since I can't see the nav info on screen from the cockpit I use my old Tiki Navigator software for longer trips and then switch over to Opencpn for the great anchor watch and chart handling. Oh well, as a friend used to say in a high squeeky voice "Why can't everything be just like I want it to be?"

Gusto....

Go to Toolbox->Language/Fonts.
Select "RouteLegInfoRollover", and then "Choose Font..."
Also, can play with "Console Legend" and "Console Value"

No, but I haven't troubled too much beyond trying with CTRL (and SHIFT and even ALT) key added to the arrow key ....I just thought it was odd and a difference from earlier versions to note in case it had relevance for larger craniums... The same keyboard shortcuts work fine in almost all other apps. Except Stellarium, that is..
Mobile Witch uses an xml file...
