Dashboard and Nmea question (Tracker)

What is the status of this?
FS#725 : NMEA use the actively maintained system's copy of nmea0183/ instead of a local copy

Also is this still a problem?
FS#1036 : NMEA 4.0 stream with TAG block do not work tranparently.

I have put them as low priority, assuming they are solved, but perhaps not.

After an discussion about the multiple meanings of the term VMG, we would like to have the values named as follows:

.. we need to use familiar terms but make each of them explicit with a 4 letter acronym (Thank you Barnakiel, your suggestions).

• VMGC (or VMGT) Velocity made good to course (or target)
• VMGW Velocity made good to wind

Would you mind making these changes in the Dashboard Instruments?
