There appears to be no manual for this device.
Please provide by attaching a pdf or doc. or post a URL.

does not show any documentation for V-800

Does it send out Nmea over bluetooth or does it do that over a usb?
Can it connect to a PC? We need more details about your attempts.

The manual mentions only the possibility to download logged data.
There is no hint that GPS data are sent as a NMEA data stream.

You might have a look with the NMEA debug window from the Connections tab if there are incoming data at real-time at all (setting the correct parameters first and disconnecting the set-up program of the Columbus before connecting OpenCPN).

Good luck, but it does not look too well.....

BCN, agreed. There appears to be no mode for a nema data stream, only download of tracks.
