Charts Won't Load in Android Device

As a backup, I like to have OpenCPN on my Android Phone. All used to work but now the charts won't load. I've added them using the usual method, and they're listed as added but just don't show.
It's the Dave Register version and I've tried SDCARD and device memory.
Any idea what I may be doing wrong?

yeah, ridiculous, i got about an inch of the bloody chart jammed into the micro sd slot and that was all it would take...
