Can't open Canadian .CAP chart files

Greetings to all!

I have purchased charts over northern Canada from Canadian Hydrographic Service. See attached jpg of the cd cover, and I have installed the bsb4-plug in OpenCPN, but I still can't open the files. The instructions for the plug-in say that "Supported charts must have been installed with appropriate encryption certificates in place." I installed the charts following the instructions as best I could, but I don't know how to check if this has been correctly done. The directory of the installed chart kit looks like the attached opencpn_dir_screenshots.doc, and I have attached the log fil in docformat.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Welcome to OpenCPN!
You are running an old version of the BSB4 plugin - version 1.2.
The first thing to do, is to upgrade to version 1.3 from this page

I installed nv-charts Plugin v1.3, but it seems to make no difference. Attach the updated logfile.

My bad!
You had the right BSB 4 version 1.2!
You uninstalled it and installed the nv-chart plugin, which is another kind of charts.
Install the BSB4 plugin again. Then search the forum for BSB4, as there has been a few threads about how to get it going.
I'm sure one of the BSB4 users will chip in, later.

I had to check "Force Full Database Rebuild"

It seems to work now.
