Canadian Charts

Hi,
I'm new to the forum and new to OpenCPN. I wonder if any one knows if it is possible to get get free charts of the east coast of Canada (Nova Scotia) to use with OpenCPN.
Thanks, Mark.

Re: Canadian Charts

The Canadian Hydrographic Service charges for their charts.

There are no NOAA charts that cover that area.

Looks like I'm going to have to put a crow bar in my wallet and disturb the moths. I guess the Canadian Hydro-graphic Service is the place to go to get charts of the Nova Scotia coast.

If it helps, the electronic charts on the CD are much less expensive than buying all of those paper charts.

Yup, and there is no chart "book" either, so they are all single pages.

Guess how I know.
