Exactly what steps do you use to recreate the problem?

What operating system are you using? (Linux x86 or ARM, Android, Windows)

Can you post a screen shot of the connection details shown in the options->connections?

Are you absolutely sure the waypoints are not duplicated in the route? O just sends the waypoints even if there are duplicates in the route.

Ok, I looked at the source code this morning. The duplicate WPL message is by design. Apparently it was added because some GPS units don't accept the first WPL message so O sends it twice. An exception to this rule is if the GPS is type "FurunoGP3X" then it will only send the WPL message once. But that GPS type also has limited waypoint memory so O sends fewer WPL messages in that case.

Is the duplicate WPL message causing any problem? If so, describe the problem and what type of GPS or device you are sending the message to.
