BU-354 position error

Installed version 4.4 and GE2KAP on my and a friends computer. Created GE/kap charts of our location. Using the same driver and GPS, my PC shows an acccurate location on chart (cm93) and GE/kap chart. My friend shows about 1/4 mile off on both. Reinstalled drivers, checked offset (0), position on both is consistent and stable (I.e. Not jumping around), satellite contstellation looks good and is the same on both, error is consistent and repeated after restarts, etc.

can't figure this out. Any clues/hints/tips?

Thanks all

Assuming you've moved gps pucks around, Assuming gps lat/ long read out is wrong too. Investigate hardware vs software gpu rendering, and other system settings that might effect decimal conversion.

Re: BU-354 position error

That part of MX is not correct. There is a feature in opencpn that will correct CM-93. I don't remember off-hand how to do it. Can't take time now to look it up. Sorry!
