boat(laptop)position data transfer from U Blox

I have Win 10 laptop. Added U-blox 7020 GNSS module wich provide current position-shoes at U-center 18.06. How should I arrange data(position) transfer to Open CPN ? At the moment it's blind - works separatly. Thanks

Hello,
Can you see which COM port the U-Blox module is using on the laptop?
That should be visible in U-Center or the Device Manager for the computer
You will need to go to OpenCPN>Dashboard>Connections and add a connection that matches.
If I remember right, they will not both work at the same time (U-Center and OpenCPN).

Yes, U Blox works via COM 6 port - will try to coordinate. I don't need both programm running at the same time. But, HOW OPEN CPN will get the boat position, if the U Center will be OFF ?

The U-Blox module should be passing good information via the COM port by itself, it should not need U-Center.
