I have Win7, and i dont think its the problem, i use same laptop
with OpenCpn since v 3.2 and it always worked fine.
There is also another strange problem ...when first opening it, there is no valid Ťoptionsť icon, i need to click on another icon to make it valid and then open it.
And adding a new charts directory make it crash.
I found the opencpn.log file, its a txt file and quite large since all attemps i made to make it work .
By looking at this .log file, i found out it successfully updated my Canadian charts database, but why i dont have any of them on screen is mystery
Same for trying to attach the .log file here ... it doesnt work.
I'm thinking to un-install everything and try again.
I will be at work from tomorrow and will have limited Internet
access for the next 2 weeks, so my answers here might not be on time.
