Auto Follow problem

Hi,
I have OpenCPN version 4.4. External GPS (COM7) and AIS receiver(com4) data can be seen in OPENCPN window data. Problem is that I must use auto follow manually - it is not running automatically. During sailing, the ship is on the same place and it si moving to the new actual position only when I click to Auto Follow icon on the menu bar.
Can you help me with this problem ?

Do you have Options->Display->General->Zoom to Cursor marked?
If so deactivate and try again. Please report back, as this may need to be documented.
