Android Tab 4 - OpenCPN -ENC am I doing something wrong

Am I doing something wrong
I have downloaded ENC charts for NOAA. when I view them I OpenCPN;
1. "U's" show up all over the charts
2. Text detail seems to be missing ..like bouy identification ..Bridge names and clearances etc...
3. Depth sounding seem to disappear zooming in and out

I've tried changing ttributes forvthe cgarts, standard mariners etc.
tried toggling text on and off through menu dropdown..didn't seem to work

Any help would be appreciated
Bill

Text: The A+ button?

Take your time to go through the manual! It's a real bargain...

Re: Android Tab 4 - OpenCPN -ENC am I doing something wrong

Thanks Petter
I don't think those options are available for Android..
These are for the PC application.
BUT....I'm seeing the same issue on PC...
Should I see names of harbors and towns etc???
I am not used to using ENC's so maybe they are displayed correctly
My options that you point out are set the way you indicate
Thanks

Re: Android Tab 4 - OpenCPN -ENC am I doing something wrong

Yup...did the A+ button....the inly text that shows up is " clr cl 15.7"
No text as to bottom "mud" etc
No txt for harbor or river names
Under "charts" ..Vector Chart Display ....display category is ALL
"De-Cluttered Text" NOT CHECKED
"Reduced Detail at Small Scale" NOT CHECKED"
Grrrrr
Maybe stick with Raster Charts

Maine Bill, there's always more to learn, but you might find this useful too.

FAQ | Official OpenCPN Homepage scroll down until you see U's

It was updated from above info too.
