AIS-SART NMEA Sentences

Does OpenCPN handle NMEA-0183 messages from an AIS receiver that has received a transmission from an AIS-SART?

I would like to see a sample of the NMEA-0183 message from an AIS receiver that has received a transmission from an AIS-SART. Does anyone have a sample message they could share?

I have this NMEA sample:

!AIVDM,1,1,,B,1>MA>E>P000NoHHMEB=P0?wt1t00,0*4C

If OpenCPN supports AIS-SART messages, could someone confirm the above is a valid AIS-SART message by testing it with their OpenCPN?

I couldn't find a relevant discussion of this elsewhere by searching the archives, so I started this thread.

Your message is valid. Just put in a text file and run the VDR plugin, to see the result.

Yes,

OpenCPN does handle the AIS-SART sentences correctly - you will find in the attachment a stream which contains the corresponding sentences.
Just strip the .doc extension.

Those data are from a manufacturer testing with OpenCPN

Yes, the message is valid. For your testing, get the VDR plugin, save your message in a text file and play it.
