One more.
Could you add an option to adjust logs manually after posting please?
I tried saving a location on the websites Google Maps chart. It did not work and when I entered it manually I had not enough digits after the comma.
So the boat is now in the middle of France and not at the coast in Cordemais.
Would be nice to correct things like this later.
Agreed . I made an position entry found the boat in Uzbekastan. I ended up having to delete it and enter a new one. Easier editing of these kinds of entries if at all possible would be good

as of today, you have the option to delete a position report and resubmit one. Would that be acceptable in the interim?

Just go to your Dashboard on Squidd.io , scroll down to the section called "Your Log Posts" and click on the little x next to the post(s) you want to delete. You can access the Dashboard by by clicking the small green arrow in the top bar, after logging in.

Currently that section only shows posts in the last month, but that can be changed.

Let me know if that works for you

I'll try that tomorrow. Thanks for the fast reaction!

M.C. I just needed to enter a "-" to go west, so editing would be helpful rather than having to re-enter the lat long.

Re: Active Captain Discontinued - An Opportunity?

As per my mail to you, deleting works, even though editing would be preferable.

One more, rather then only allowing decimal degrees input on the position log on the website, degrees followed by decimal minutes would make position entry more easy IMHO.
If necessary even if that means 4 separate data input fields.

Software usually shows it that way and not as decimal degree only.

Alternatively click&save on Google maps or right-click in OpenCPN.

I agree with Franziska above. I have not used the log feature enough with squiddio_pi and do not recall how it works. Does it simply take boat position and automatically enter that into the log? Does it support right-click Copy Lat/Long? and then paste into the log?

I should really try it out more, including finding some friends!
