Acronym Problems

Good day all, I have been using the program for a while on my boat and had it tested during an atlantic passage on one of "our" merchant vessels (I am a shipping agent and I hold a master mariner license). I asked her captain to have the program running continuosly during the trip; I just spoke with him and his report is very good - hail to the developers.

I have some problems while trying to understand the acronyms used in the "mariner's standard" in the toolbox. I could obviously test them one by one, but i could'nt do it for any scale, situation etc.

So, I am asking if any of us have a list or a link to an explanation table.

Having been a master I am used to BA paper charts, so I changed the day palette in order to have a display similar to them. I have tried to upload it, but without success.

If anybody is interested drop me a line.

Best regards all

Piero

Piero,
welcome aboard...
The object names are defined in IHO S-57 standard. The documentation can be found at Downloads for IHO Member States and Subscribers
The document you are interested in is S-57 Appendix A - IHO Object Catalogue, downloadable from http://www.iho-ohi.net/iho_pubs/stan...1/31ApAch1.pdf
