2010 ----> 2016 ... Seven years ....

Seven years already! Seven years of using OpenCPN .....

This year, 4 months of sailing. Over 60 days at sea, for hours to prepare the routes, to save the tracks, watching the weather forecast.

Not one crash!

Ouahhhhhhh !!!!!

Dave thank you. And thank you to all who have worked to develop plugins.

Best regards. Gilletarom.

Re: 2010 ----> 2016 ... Seven years ....

Once again I'll add my heartfelt thanks to all the hard working guys in the OCPN development team. It's a bonzer bit of software as it is now, and I know from the past years experience that it will continue to grow and improve.

I prefer it to any of the commercial programs that I have used or witnessed in action. The few things that some of them have that are missing from OCPN are generally fluff designed to attract viewers at boat shows... I sure don't miss them!

Well done all!

Jim

Second last year in the Baltic Sea: Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Finland (Öland). And by some miracle, no storm has bothered us, no storm .... few hours of rain. And lots of sun.

And OpenCPN ....

Thanks to all the developers!

Great piece of software with great plugins too.

You made navigation (especially for the budget conscious) a lot easier and safer and added tons of sunny sailing days by it.

Just great!

Franziska
