Too many to list and there is no such thing as "the best".

Re: What is the best boat to circumnavigate with a two person crew
You'll need a 30-35 footer mono hull, plenty of storage space, a keel preferably 5 feet or less, and capable of being sailed single handed (your sheets/lines should be easily accessible/controlled from the helm). Above all else, you need to be a skillful and a resourceful sailor. There is no perfect boat; boats are compromises to best suit your needs. Many Old Salts, on here, will suggest you a few boats meeting the listed criteria. Charter 2-5 recommended boats, before deciding on the ONE you want. Take it from here! Good luck! Mauritz

Re: What is the best boat to circumnavigate with a two person crew
Seriously, this is a "how long is a piece of rope?" question.
I can tell you are in the very early stages. Fair enough.
Sail as crew in a variety of boats. Work up to delivery crew. See what works and what doesn't, and figure out why it doesn't or does work. This will help to eliminate 90% of the boats out there for you. The remainder will comprise your pool of potentialities.

I hate to venture back into this post, but, for the OP's sake... there are plenty of people happily circumnavigating in boats under 30'. I'll withhold my rant.

Re: What is the best boat to circumnavigate with a two person crew
Not sure what you mean by not worrying about money, is your budget unlimited? There is no best boat for a circumnavigation. In our travels we have seen boats from 27 to 60 feet and from $3000 to $3 million. The average boat size is about 45 feet. If money was no object for us, and it is, I might look at a recent Amel or a Little Harbor up to about 55', bur lots of people are having great trips on relatively simple inexpensive.
I agree that there is no best boat for the journey.

May be you would get a better answer to your question on a forum overtly specialising in fantasy ?
