Yeah, a liquid fuel stove is practical. I'm very happy to have the diesel heater.

Newt--1 way to achieve the heat transfer and storage would be to install the stove through the bulkhead, with its own water jacket toward the inside, and the combustion on the outside. It would consume outside air, and you would have to stoke it from outside, but its heat would be radiated directly into the cabin.
