I think they are discussing eliminating weather SEASONS, not individual weather events. So, while one may have to wait a few days in port for an individual storm to pass, one would not have to put their boat away for a storm season to pass.

Sorry for the confusion. I was just trying to focus the conversation away from weather since I assume everyone (including rookie me) understand that weather is a key issue that will always be in play. I wanted to hear about other issues besides weather but not because I'm ignoring the impact of weather. I agree 100% with you that weather will be an issue -- I simply wanted to learn about issues aside from weather that impact the timing of such trips.
