The Porta-Bote was mentioned in this discussion about dinghies and used prices for different kinds.

I do not own one yet, but was impressed by the videos I saw on Youtube and am considering one for my future. I like what I have learned about them so far.

I came across one today (used with 6hp 4stroke Merc + Oars+ dolly). Here is the link if anyone is interested.

As always, I have NO connection to the seller or boat.

I am simply posting this to inform people of the market price for a used one WITH 6hp 4 Stroke Merc outboard AND a trailer and posting a photo to show what one looks like (12 foot model). The owner is asking $1,500 for the boat with motor and dolly and accessories.

hi, oh, I don't know if this is appropriate, but I have to say: I can't wait till I take my 28 ft. 79 Glastron Spirit out while coming back from Catalina and opening up the sails and just let her fly! I haven't had the chance to do it yet, but why is it that we ir maybe it's just me, have this ideology that the wind is always going to be there when we deep down know that it isn't really true???? I luv u mates and I understand after living aboard, so much more now and I do respect the ocean! Luv & hugs to all sailing mates!! Re; Vina( between storms)
