Challenge: Haunted Boat

Florida law requires seller to disclose that house or boat is 'haunted' or has a reputation as 'haunted'.

Do you normally inquire about this topic in the negociation process to adquire a boat?

any one with stories about haunted boats to share?

Maybe I should have as apparently mine has a bit of history and I am sure she is “living”! Good thing is that as much as I bought her I feel she chose me.

Actually, the law you speak of is part of a "full disclosure" real estate requirement in Florida law. It has never been tested since enactment in 1995 and is just one of many ridiculous things we pay politicians to do. For example it's a crime to leave an elephant tied to a parking meter unattended, but more importantly, lap dances must be given at least six feet away from a patron in Tampa!

the difference between a boat and a house is that with a reputation for haunted you are stuck living in a community with a higher than average level of gullible f#ckwits so useful to know (although WTF the Govt has to do with it all is the mystery to me ) - whereas with a boat you can simply move.

But if anyone wants their boat, house, (car, fridge? ) excorcised simply cross my palm with silver and I will do the neccessary. For some things gullible f#ckwits are useful

I ain't scared of your ghost

I've not only seen ghosts on a couple of occassions but talked to them (being able to put your hand through people whilst talking to them is usually the clue ). and I still don't beleive in them - I'm a hard sell

And I wasn't smoking anything at the time - the mind is a powerful thing, something that can give you all those events and feelings within dreams can give you anything. It can even turn dodgy chemicals and alcohol into sights and sounds as well as feelings.........but like any machine doesn't function 100% for 100% of the time. Folks know that already from simple misfunctions like headaches, why would the audio / visual proccessing parts of the brain not also be capable of the odd misfunction?
