XM Weather to PC

We would like to bring XM weather onboard and pipe it into our laptop.
However the systems I've found on line are above a $1,000.00.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do it cheaper?

Thanks in advance,
Rit

It the number for the wx weather company
http://http://www.wxworx.com/
click on marine, or search for MPOUSB
it is the direct connect to your pc
the guy on the phone recommended buying through a local dealer, because they are more flexable with their prices then the company....i'm with you on the price of the technology....but hey, if you know how to understand weather, turn a wrench, use a volt meter, stay calm in......
