Xantrex Freedom 20 inverter/charger fan

I'm not at the boat at the moment, so would have to rummage. If you don't have the same model inverter, it might not be the same.

But the next time I'm at the boat I'll look up what I have. I got the P/N from the tech who replaced my main board so it may not be searchable.

035-4009-01 this part number is for Xantrex reference only.

I called Schneider and asked for that part number; they said that will be $X-unremembered, how will you be paying?

Easy as that. I thought I was going to have to go through some nos type place to find it.

Had the exact problem last summer in the Northeast. Fan just stopped like it was jammed up. Xantrex wanted two week turnaround to fix fan and I ended up getting a new Magnum (same footprint and you can use existing wiring). Had the Xantrex fixed at Lamplighters in Fort Pierce, FL for $170 and subsequently reinstalled Xantrex with A/B switch so I have a built-in spare and wired so I can use both chargers at the same time if needed (AGM batt bank). Piss poor turnaround however at Xantrex in Massachusetts. Highly recommend Magnum or Mastervolt.

I carried my unit in originally, got one board replaced, then the other failed.

He made a trip to the boat, determined that it likely was the other board, took it to the shop and identified the slight noise we had in the fan at float charge levels.

Replaced the second board; wish they'd both been bad when the first one failed, because buying another would have been cheaper even without the service call, and we commenced searching for the fan, which I'd keep in spares.

Which is where the one from Schneider is, now, as the noise level hasn't gotten worse, yet.

Oh - the office/warehouse/workshop is almost halfway to Ft. Pierce on the turnpike feeder, so you wouldn't have to go far if you're in FTP as I think I saw earlier.
