Wiring Fluxgate to Simrad TP-32

Bought a Simrad Tillermate TP-32 believing the marketing that it was completely self-contained. Fool me. On a steel boat, the TP-32 needs to be connected to a fluxgate compass.

Anyone know how to do this? Simrad is coy in the extreme in instructions - and none of their keywords (eg Navico Corus, ATC600 etc) produce any results on Google - results are all biased towards Raymarine A/ps. Emailed Simrad but so far no response.

This will be a stand-alone installation, no chartplotter etc.
