Please, just stay anchored off the main beach at Ibiza. And for God's sake get a suspended DJ booth installed in the Flybridge, with both vinyl and MP3 decks... Just don't come near me with that thing!

Here's the best spot for it..

Somewhere I have the schematics for an EMP rifle. I believe anyone has the right to swing their arms. BUT that right stops at the tip of my nose!

In that case, the OP ought to watch out for a drone dropping something really stinky and messy into his boat's cockpit.

Its a 38' boat. So you follow the wire from the fuse box to the speaker, and the amp will be someplace in between the two.

Re: wingless 2,500W Sound System

The stereo amplifier is located in the concealed compartment behind the Salon aft vertical cushion, under the AC / DC panel. Remove the screws along the cushion bottom edge and lift the cushion to remove.

FWIW, the speaker wiring sucked on my 2000 380DA. The factory set this to fade front to the Master Stateroom and rear to the Salon / Cockpit. It did not work w/ children when growing up. I rewired mine to front to everything below / rear to the cockpit.

The speaker enable switches below the cabin entry light switches was also added by me, to make it quick to kill sound below or above. It was implemented on later model years, using the enable amplifier input. Those later years had two amplifiers, not just the one the factory installed on my boat.

Be aware that powerful amplifiers create LOTS of heat, so this sealed compartment might not work if the power is going up.

Re: wingless 2,500W Sound System

Wingless, if there was a means of limiting the propagation of the sound to the hull of the vessel generating it, we wouldn't be so critical of big sound systems. But the truth is that sound travels ever so well across water, and having suffered annoyance (approaching rage) when some thoughtless boater has cranked up the volume in order that he may "enjoy" his music (often loosely defined as such)... well, what you describe in such loving terms sounds pretty anti-social to many of us. Honestly, it is hard to imagine how one could use that much power without bothering folks nearby; perhaps you will only crank it up when in isolation.

At any rate, I believe that this iis the reason for the hostile reaction to your post.
