where can i buy navman software?

hi i was looking for extra cards for navman 6500, for w australian coast etc, anyone know a source? thanks

Could be difficult as Navman disappeared a couple of years ago by their parent compant Navico, and replaced with Northstar, which again got kicked to the side and basically forgotten about, replaced this time by lowrance in their marine catalogue in Australia. There are no spare parts available for them if you ring and they are not interested in them at all.

Northstar still lives i think but for road based gps only.

No problems at all, while you can't buy a Navman plotter anymore the chart cards are still available.....

The cards (C Card type) are C-MAP from Jeppesen C-MAP by Jeppesen | Jeppesen and you can find out what will suit your plotter here http://ww1.jeppesen.com/documents/ma...patibility.pdf for the 6500 you can use either NT NT+ & MAX, just remember you have the C Card type, not the SD Card.....
