What Hydraulic Fluid to Use in Raymarine Type 3

I have a Raymarine Type 3 linear hydraulic system and I need to refill the hydraulic fluid. However, Raymaine does not seem to have a specification anywhere that I can find for the type/grade of fluid to use.

Can anyone help me with this???

Just talked to Raymarine...they specify the use of CANMET #15 High Viscosity Power Steering Fluid.

I use power steering fluid as well.

I have used ATF fluid for years (18,000 miles) in my type 3 pump. Keeps things simple, it's the same stuff as in the transmission. Keeps the inventory of lubricants simple, should you have a catastropic leak somewhere.
