Weather station

I was wondering if any of those "weather station" products sold are any good on a boat.
I would probably like to know wind speed trends, barometer trends, temperature etc hooked up to a PC?
what brands would you consider reasonable.
I am not talking about the $100.00 rubbish but something under $1,000

I have a LaCrosse station on my boat and love it. It gives historical barometric traces, I can see wind strength and temperature inside the boat and it even predicts the weather for the next 24 hours (and is surprisingly accurate - at least better than the NOAA predictions on the VHF around here). Wind direction, however, doesn't work on a boat because it expects the direction indicator to be pointing south and it makes measurements relative to this. It hooks to a computer, but I haven't done that.

I’ve seen a lot of different LaCrosse indoor/outdoor thermometers, some c/w history, priced between about $20 up through $150.
Which model do you have (c/w Wind, Baro', etc)?

I have the WS2010. It looks like it has been discontinued and replaced with a shinier unit. Mine measures 4 temperature sensors (outdoor + three mobile remote sensors), humidity for each sensor, rainfall gauge, wind speed and direction and barometric pressure.

WS2010
