I have a LaCrosse station on my boat and love it. It gives historical barometric traces, I can see wind
strength and temperature inside the boat and it even predicts the weather
for the next 24 hours (and is surprisingly accurate - at least better than the NOAA predictions on the VHF
around here). Wind direction, however, doesn't work on a boat because it expects the direction indicator to be pointing south and it makes measurements relative to this. It hooks to a computer, but I haven't done that.
