WatchMate Vision

I purchased a new watchmate vision and am trying to download updates using a PC and wifi.

I have downloaded the drivers as supplied by vision and uploaded them, I think. I have connected the vision by wifi to my PC. I have also downloaded the updates, but don't see how to transfer the information from the PC to the vision watchmate.

Can anyone help with the mechanics?

Re: WatchMate Vision

Hi,

All you need to do is install the vmAIS program (double click on vmsetup.exe) and then use that to do the update. There's a firmware update tab on it. You don't need to download anything else or install drivers as the drivers are for USB which aren't used to do an update since that happens over WiFi.

Please flick us an email to support@vespermarine.com and we'll step you through it.

Jeff

Thanks John for your support of VM. We are having Christmas at anchor at Great Barrier Island in the Hauraki Gulf... testing upcoming Vision and 850 updates on this trip too...

All the best to you and your family also for the holiday season and a healthy new year.

Probably the very best support from any company out there! Fantastic piece of gear (Watchmate 850). Vesper marine gets my vote! Happy new year Jeff!

Re: WatchMate Vision

Agree that they have great support. Maybe other supplies should take note.
