VHF with DSC, AIS, and GPS!

You select test i used my MMSI on my portable radio u can use any one that u know with MMSI number no one but that radio gets the test signel I did call coast guard they said no problem

Anyone had any experience with the new RAY 70? Supposedly AIS GPS, SEATALK NMEA2000 and NMEA0183 Compatible.....

I'm going to make a little sail down the coast from SF to Oceanside, CA. Looking for an AIS equipped VHF. Any more information on the radio's that are out there like the ICOM 506, Simrad RS35, Raymarine 70.

Leaning toward the SH 2200-B because the built in GPS makes it nearly automatic to set up for DSC. No worries about getting a remote GPS to talk to it. My GPS is an old Garmin 476 that I don't have the cables or manual for and will be pressed for time finishing up the prep for the sail. Does it have NMEA2000 capability??

The Ray70 is the only other AIS equipped radio that has a built in GPS AFAIK. Prices on the SH are better
