Ultrasonic tank level monitors

I have a specific question concerning configuration of the Maretron TLM 100 ultrasonic tank level monitor. To those who actually have one or more:


I know it is N2K, but there is a statement on their website that it requires a Maretron device such as the DSM250 or the N2K analyzer to properly configure it. I have an N2K network with a Zeus 2 MFD. The Zeus 2 has a settings menu where you can configure different attached N2K devices but I'm not sure whether I will be able to configure the TLM 100. Does anyone know whether this will work? I want to make sure before I buy one. I don't really want to buy extra Maretron devices just to configure it.

you will need a maretron unit to configure the depth levels of the tank. IE 20" empty, 1" full. or borrow one.

I have better luck with the offshore system tank level sensors. calibrate on sensor itself
