TV Antenna Mounting

Any thoughts on mounting a 14" Glomex TV antenna on the upper spreader at about 32 ft above the deck? Would one loose much reception versus mast head at 50 ft? Seems a safer place to mount it.

Thoughts????

I mounted mine about 3 feet above my radome on my C320 and it works well. I am very happy with its performance in the Seattle area. Mounting a device like this for TV reception does not seem worth the extra hassle of mounting it all the way at the top of the mast to compete with the small space that is used by the VHF antenna and the windex and wind speed sensor. The VHF antenna and the wind speed sensor are much more important and worthy of occupying the space at the top of the mast without a large TV antenna.
