Transducer for Simrad BSM-1 D.S.

Hello. I have a Furuno 6100 depth sounder and I am looking into the purchase of the B&G Zeus T12 (on sale at Defender for $989.10) and the BSM-1 depth sounder module (on sale at West Marine for 349.77, unless Defender matches their price).

The furuno is wired to an Airmar 50/200hz transducer that has 3 wires that I soldered onto a 10 or so pin plug.

The boat isn't due to come out of the water for another year at which time I will install a new transducer. In the mean time, can I get a transducer plug for the BSM-1 that I could solder my existing transducer to? Will it work?

Again, many thanks in advance,
Gregg

The connector alone for the BSM may be hard to get - you might be able to get an extension cable and cut it. Looks like the transducers are compatible, for more info and wiring diagrams consult the Airmar Cross Reference here:
