Telnet settings

Im using airmail 3.4 for emails with my Icom 718 radio and pactor IIusb modem but cannot get the right settings to use telnet when connected to the internet.
Can anyone help?

How are you "connecting" to the internet, and, what are you trying to accomplish with TELNET?

After searching and playing with my Winlink (I know, different from Pactor) I see that there needs to be an authorized IP address and Port setting of 8772. If you have the right port but not connecting, confirm your IP address or reenter it. I am sure you have done that a million times, but a misplaced number or punctuation will put a kibosh on your connection attempts. Also, will current band condition and time-of-day support you connection?
