Here in the US I pay $60/month pay-as-you-go for 20GByte on the 3G Verizon network. The contract is with Millenicom. 4G is $70. Verizon direct is $50 for 5GByte.

Re: T-Mobile now has unlimited international DATA!

So, now does anyone have experience with T Mobile's plan in Mexico? We would use the unlimited data and unlimited texting and only occasionally voice. What have you experienced as to coverage in Baja on the Pacific Coast? Any comparison to Telcel? Thanks,
Michael

Re: T-Mobile now has unlimited international DATA!

Im on a 3 Network ( Hutchinson) I pay €20 a month for unlimited 3G data. no upper limit !!, ( plus 300 texts and 300 minutes a month ) Having unlimited data plans is the only way to go.

T-Mob uses GSM/UMTS/LTE technology like AT&T and is the same as Telcel which allows for easier roaming due to less hardware conflicts. T-mob has no license or specific network in Mexico. They have agreements with foreign carriers to allow users to access while roaming. That agreement is likely with Telcel and you would be on that network. A call to T-mobile should get you specifics.
